We’re currently a small team passionate about changing the world of fintech and reimagining what’s possible.

Our founding team spent the last few years building, designing, and scaling products at Airbnb to over 5M+ hosts around the world. Our past experiences also include places like Google, Microsoft Research, Faraday Future, Nike, etc.

We’re a remote-friendly team distributed between NYC, SF and Toronto. For those looking to work in person, we offer a beautiful office space in New York right next to Grand Central Station and we’re working on plans for SF.

👋 What we're looking for

We’re looking for an experienced, world-class product designer to help lead Roi’s design efforts. As an early design hire, you’ll be excited by and responsible for leading zero-to-one projects that make investing more accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for the next generation of investors. You’ll also have the opportunity to oversee (if not implement yourself) everything from brand identity, to marketing & sales assets, to user research and more.

At Roi, we care deeply about design— and you will too. You’ll be just as passionate about creating new products and features as you are about the micro-interactions and moments of delight that bring them to life.

For our first design roles, we are looking for people with several years of experience

🙋‍ What you’ll do

• Contribute to the overall product and design direction of the whole company

• Work with founders to shape product strategy and vision

• Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for your features and products

• Partner closely with engineers to ensure a high-quality product is shipped

• Conduct user research to gather feedback and develop insights

• Lead the development and evolution of our design system

• Help with hiring and establishing a design culture within the company

🛠 Qualifications

• Several years leading and designing at consumer tech startups

• Excellent visual, interaction and prototyping design skills

• Excited by the prospect of zero-to-one design

• Experience designing platforms and systems

• Experience conducting and leading user research

• Strong communication skills and ability to stay highly organized

• Proficient in at least one high-fidelity prototyping tool (Origami, Framer, Principle, etc).

• Master of Figma

✨ Bonus Points

• Experience designing fintech and/or web3 products

• You’ve done at least some dabbling in crypto, NFTs, DeFi

• Experience designing for social media, marketing or brand
